Directs employee activity, schedules work and workers, manages inventories, oversees reports to ensure accurate data is entered into WCS systems, enforces work rules and administers discipline, and monitors production to ensure standards are met for safety, sanitation, quality and volume.
Regular work schedule is Monday - Friday 11p-7a with some extended daily hour and weekend work possible.
Other Duties Include:
Know & understand the projected production schedules for the shift.
Assign work tasks to employees to assure production schedule is met
Manage costs for labor, electrical and repairs
Keep supervisor(s) abreast of significant issues or developments identified during work shift that pertain to production, quality or employees.
Present monthly sanitation/safety training
Train new employees
Strive to eliminate as much unplanned downtime as practical
Determine the root cause of any opportunity or problem before developing any or all action plans
Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
Must have at least 3 years of related experience or training and at least 2 years of management experience, including employee supervision.
