Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment; maintain efficient plant operations, weld or/and cut as needed, formulate sheet metal, install spouting, troubleshoot faulty equipment to determine problem areas, perform pump repair as needed, perform work in any area as assigned by supervisor, operate forklift, wear personal protective equipment and work safely.
1. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees of the organization
2. Be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factors, and decimals, ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret mechanical drawings.
3. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
4. Employee is required to stand, walk and use hands to handle or feel. This employee will occasionally reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. This employee will occasionally be required to lift and or move up to but, no more than, 100#. Climb ladders 100' in air on various storage tanks. This job includes some vision requirements.
