Job Description

SUMMARY : The primary purpose is to keep the bulk bin area clean, run samples on the different products to ensure that it meets specifications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures. Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor. Attend training as required or approved by supervisor. Keep accurate records and fill out cleaning schedule daily. Perform moisture checks on collets, run Ro-taps on 20/80 daily, take samples and prepare samples for shipment.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE : High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and one to three months related experience and/or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS : Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.

REASONING ABILITY : Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry detailed written or oral instructions.. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Reading and selecting the proper to sew on the bag, recording bag weights threading the sewing machine.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; extreme cold, extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually load.
