Work in Rough Rice Department as a Seasonal Worker. Must be able to clean, sweep, shovel, work on equipment and misc. duties.
Responsible for safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures. Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor. Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.
Frequently exposed to high, precarious places. Must work at heights up to 75 feet and in confined spaces.
Work in dusty and noisy environment requiring the use of personal protection equipment. Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Work in cold and hot weather; below 30 degrees and above 95 degrees. Will be exposed to outside weather and temperatures; extreme heat and vibration.
Frequently required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to stand for more than one hour per occurrence, walk up to 600 feet per occurrence, Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms and to talk or hear. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
General cleaning, some lifting, light machine operations, other miscellaneous duties.
